Minimal Input Required For pots 50L and above, minimal or no additional input is needed. Alternatively, use our soluble/micronized Super Bloom and Super Veg in 22L+ pots once or twice a week. Optimal Watering Guidelines We recommend most of your watering events be in the range of 5 to 10% of your container volume. For example:

• 22L pot: 5% irrigation event = 1.1L
• 22L pot: 10% irrigation event = 2.2L
• 50L pot: 5% irrigation event = 2.5L
• 50L pot: 10% irrigation event = 5L

This may seem less than in other systems; the goal is not to "flush" or aim for runoff. In soil, you aim to maintain even soil moisture at the root  zone of not too wet or dry. Alternating between 5% and 10% waterings every other day is a good strategy if you are starting out.  Blumat moisture meters or blu lab pulses can help guide you to the target. Nutrient-Rich and Sustainable Our flagship living soil is packed with NZ-sourced natural ingredients, designed for water-only cultivation, no-till, soil recycling, and high-end organic cultivation. • Use 100L pots minimum for "no-till" or "water-only" cultivation. Larger pots are recommended.
• Multi-plant beds enhance fungal networks, improving plant health and yields.

• Amino acids are the recommended additional nitrogen source if needed.

Best Watering Practices Applying water with a spray pack or a soft output rain-style applicator is recommended over simply pouring the water on. Gradually wetting the soil simulates rainfall, helping it soak in best. Our mixes are designed to drain well, but any amended soil will naturally hold significant moisture. Composts, peat, minerals, and even dry amendments themselves hold moisture, so a little more care is recommended.
